Sim Sim Restaurant was born from a deep love for the flavors, warmth, and hospitality of Central Asia. Named after the sesame seeds that crown every loaf of traditional Uzbek bread - and the magic word that opens doors to hidden treasures - Sim Sim is our invitation to discover something extraordinary right here in North Miami Beach.

Our kitchen is guided by time-honored family recipes passed down through generations, from the bustling bazaars of Tashkent to the aromatic tea houses along the ancient Silk Road. Every dish we serve carries the spirit of Uzbekistan’s rich culinary heritage - handcrafted with care, seasoned with tradition, and served with the kind of genuine hospitality that makes guests feel like family.

At Sim Sim, we believe great food starts with great ingredients and patient hands. Our plov simmers slowly with tender lamb, sweet carrots, raisins, and chickpeas until every grain of rice is infused with flavor. Our shashlik is marinated overnight and grilled over open flame. Our chebureki are hand-crimped and fried to a perfect golden crunch. We make our bread fresh daily - soft, sesame-topped rounds that are the perfect companion to our creamy haydari and house-made hummus.
